Japan’s cabinet approved Order to Partially Amend the Order on Reporting of GHGs

On March 3, 2025, Japan promulgated an order partially amending the Order on Reporting of Carbon Dioxide Equivalent Greenhouse Gas Emissions. At the same time, two public notifications were issued to amend the method for calculating greenhouse gas emissions and to partially amend the method for determining the adjusted greenhouse gas emissions.
